About meMy name is KanchoJim Mcivor I am aged 49 and married with two grown up daughters I Live in Luton Beds And I have practiced Martial arts for 35 years. Without me boring you here is a few lines about my time involved in martial arts. I started boxing at the age of 8 and trained on and off until I was 14 year old when I then discovered a local karate club. Practising in sankukai karate until I reached my black belt aged 16. My training was very fanatical as I was putting in seven days a week this caused me to become very exhausted so I then had a break for a year. Later in 1985 I joined spirit combat where I met a professor Brian dossett. Brian introduced me to martial arts such as Ju-Jitsu Kickboxing and Weapon work. I later in 1993 started my own system, which I named Trinity Zen Budo Ryu roughly meaning school of the martial spirit for which i am now a 6th dan degree black belt. I first started teaching in 1976 but my current club started in 1986 and was called Luton spirit combat. Two more clubs branched off from the original club. But in 2002 I joined the fire service at that time my classes unfortunatly started to disappear in my absence. And Sadly my new career in the fire service came to an end. b ut fortunatlyI later joined another emergecy service which does demand a great deal of my time however i still do teach on a volantary basis and any profits from the club will go to either a charity or students equiptment. My club At present I run a class one day a week at Denbigh high school Luton beds. This runs for one hour from 11am until 1200 noon on sunday mornings the age groups are from seven years upwards.although i do have a very demanding career i am still avalable to instruct at seminars all i ask is that you cover any of my expenses that may occur and bear in mind my family always come first meaning my spare time goes to them first.Many thanks Kanchojim Kancho Jim Mcivor wally Jay putting me in my place 1993 This website was created using MAGIX Website Maker You will need the current version of Adobe Flash Player to view it.
